Stoneybrook Health Care

The Health Care division creates and monitors health care and nursing policies and procedures, develops and oversees resident testing and assessment, establishes best practices, and develops and conducts staff and RN training programs.

With a hands-on approach to management and care giving, the Health Care team is up-to-date on the most recent research and recommendations for the care of aging adults and those with Alzheimer’s and dementia, along with traditional medical care. Best practices and policies are incorporated into their residence programs to help ensure that the quality of life for each resident is as fulfilling as possible. Health Care also provides family education and support groups on the aging process, Alzheimer’s and dementia.

To ensure that guidelines and best practices are adhered to and carried out at each residence as intended, the corporate Health Care staff conducts frequent on-site visits to monitor residents and meet with RNs, care givers and other local staff members. On-going in-service training for nurses and caregivers is conducted regularly and the team also collaborates with family members, other health Care providers and staff members as a resident advocate.
